Stonehenge
What it is: Stonehenge is a mysterious series of earth, timber and stone structures that were revised and changed over more than 1400 years. It has been proposed that the construction occurred in 3 phases.
Where it is: Stonehenge is located on the Salisbury Plain about 2 miles west of Amesbury, Wiltshire in south west England.
